Kenjutsu in Berlin

Kenjutsu is an umbrella term for Japanese sword fighting techniques. In contrast to Kendo, it is often used to describe older sword techniques.
At Kobukai Berlin e.V., we practice the Kenjutsu of Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu as taught by Sugino Yukihiro Sensei. This tradition is an approximately 550-year-old comprehensive martial art (Sogo Bujutsu). Alongside the Kenjutsu of this school, you can also practice Iaijutsu, Bojutsu, and Naginatajutsu with us once you have reached an advanced level.
