Schedule a Kengaku Appointment

Before you can participate in a trial training session, you must first arrange an appointment for a Kengaku [見学] — observing the training — with us. This allows you to get a clear impression of the training, learn whether it meets your expectations, and make an informed decision.

  • Write an email to info@katori-berlin.de
  • Include the term “Kengaku” in the subject line
  • Introduce yourself briefly
  • State your desired date for the Kengaku/observation session

Please note: If these points are not observed, we reserve the right to ignore your inquiry.

The Trial Training

If you decide to participate in the trial training after the Kengaku, you have the opportunity to train for four weeks free of charge on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays before having to decide whether to become a member of our association. During this period, you don’t need any special equipment. A wooden sword is provided by us, and you can participate wearing a comfortable T-shirt and sweatpants.
